To reflect the aims of CAPE, the following governance structures have been put in place:

  • The CAPE Steering Committee is the arbiter of all CAPE activities and has equal academic/industrial representation.
  • The Technology Focus Groups (TFGs) support the CAPE Steering Committee in technical review and portfolio management.
  • The CAPE Intellectual Property Group supports the CAPE Steering Committee in management of the CAPE IP portfolio, and operates under an additional degree of confidentiality and security to enable a significant level of trust between all CAPE Partners on IP issues.

All CAPE committees and groups include representatives from the University and each Strategic Partner company.

Within this structure, day-to-day operational management is carried out by the CAPE Office which is run by the CAPE Coordinator.
